The first batch of students was accepted at the Diploma level, totaling 392 students. The students were selected by the sub-district councils in Kamphaeng Phet and Tak provinces.
Academic year 1978, expanded the acceptance of students at the higher education certificate level, 9 groups. Academic year 1979, opened for training of teachers, educational personnel (O.K.P.)
In the academic year 1985, the curriculum was opened according to the Teacher Training Council's curriculum at 3 levels: Associate Degree, Bachelor of Education (4-year course), and Bachelor of Education (2-year course) (after Associate Degree). This year, the acceptance of students at the Higher Education Certificate level was suspended.
In the academic year 1986, the first batch of training courses under the Education Management Project for Personnel (Education Management Project for Personnel) was opened, offering three levels of training: Associate Degree in Science, Bachelor of Education (4-year program), and Bachelor of Education (2-year program) (after the Associate Degree).
Academic year 1998, opened for admission to graduate students in the special program of education in the Educational Administration program.
academic year 2000, the school opened for applications to students in the Non-Formal Education Program at Mae Sot District, Tak Province, using the premises of Saraphiwitthayakhom School as the first educational center.
Academic year 2005, opened for admission to graduate students in special program, Master of Education Program, Educational Administration Program, Curriculum and Instruction Program, and Master of Arts Program, Development Strategy Program at Mae Sot Higher Education Center.
Academic year 2006, opened for applications for students from the cooperation project between the Department of Local Administration Promotion and Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University, Local Administration Program, first generation.
Teaching management is divided into 3 learning centers:
- Kamphaeng Phet Provincial Learning Center, Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University
- Tak Provincial Learning Center, Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University, Mae Sot
- Sukhothai Provincial Learning Center, Sukhothai Technical College
In the academic year 2007, special program students were accepted at the Phichit Learning Unit, Ban Pak Thang Municipality School, for the first batch of Bachelor of Laws programs in Law and Bachelor of Arts programs in Public Administration. Special program graduate studies were also opened for the Master of Public Administration programs in Industrial Technology for Local Development.
Academic year 2009, accepting applications for PhD students in the Doctoral Program in Strategic Administration and Development
Academic year 2011, there was a teaching program under the project “Increasing the Potential of Regular Education Management (P.S.P.P.)” to respond to the university policy and to open educational opportunities for many students in the local community who still wish to study as regular students of the university. The curriculum was also adjusted according to the criteria of the National Higher Education Qualification Standard.
Academic year 2012 opens for applications for undergraduate students in the Bachelor of Education program in Primary Education, Bachelor of Science program in Agricultural Technology and Geographic Information, Bachelor of Arts program in Library and Information Science and English, Bachelor of Technology program in Energy Technology, Industrial Product and Design, Computer Technology, Industrial Technology (Continuing), and Logistics Management.
Academic year 2013, open for applications for undergraduate students, Bachelor of Science, Information Technology program
Academic year 2016, open for applications for undergraduate students in the Bachelor of Education program in Chemistry and the Bachelor of Technology program in Computer Electronics.
Academic year 2019, the Bachelor of Education (4 years) curriculum has been revised for all fields of study.
Academic year 2020, develop a new curriculum, Bachelor of Education (4 years), Education major, and accept students for the first batch of Bachelor of Nursing Science programs.
Currently, Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University offers a total of 48 courses as follows:
(1) Doctoral degree level, 2 courses
(2) Master's degree level, 5 courses
(3) Bachelor's degree level, 39 courses
(4) Diploma level, 2 courses
